CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Call for applications for the 2024-2025 academic year is now open. Canadian institutions must apply on behalf of eligible candidates by 11:59 p.m. EST, March 19, 2024.

The Study in Canada Scholarships initiative aims to broaden the scope of Canadian post-secondary institutions by attracting international students from a wide array of countries and territories for short-term study or research exchanges. This program presents institutions with the opportunity to enhance their international connections, bolster academic and research excellence, and extend their reach into new markets.

Through facilitating these short-term exchanges, the program fosters the establishment of fresh connections that contribute to the diversification and enrichment of Canada’s educational engagement with a multitude of partners worldwide. This initiative not only serves to strengthen bilateral relations but also aligns with the Government of Canada’s overarching objectives for international trade diversification.

Operated as part of Global Affairs Canada’s International Scholarships Program, the Study in Canada Scholarships initiative serves as a vital platform for promoting global academic collaboration and fostering cultural exchange on a short-term basis.
